Vidalia Sweet Onion Crab Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 2 cans crab meat
  • 2 cans cream of asparagus soup
  • 2 cans cream of potato soup
  • 2 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 jumbo sized Vidalia onion
  • 1½ c. sweet carrots, sliced
  • 2 c. diced red potatoes, pre-cooked
  • 1 stick real butter
  • Extra spicy Mrs. Dash
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Tabasco sauce

Directions

Saute jumbo Vidalia onion and carrots in melted butter. Add soup and potatoes and heat thoroughly. Add whipping cream & evaporated milk to this mixture. Add Mrs. Dash & cayenne pepper to taste. Add 6 to 7 splashes of Tabasco sauce. Heat 30 minutes or until thoroughly warmed. Before serving, add 1 cup chopped Vidalia onion for an added crispy/crunchy touch.
